Current and Upcoming LCTA PTA Happenings

Thank you from the PTA!

Thank you to all those who contributed to our Blessings in a Backpack Program this past week. We were so pleased with the response from students and families. The program is off to a great start! The program is ongoing throughout the school year…. learn about ways you can participate by clicking here.

Thank you to our families who came out in support of our PTA presentation this Monday to celebrate our differences through friendships at LCTA. Thank you to Dr. Conlan, Ms. Ford and Dr. Brit along with our parent volunteers with the special education committee who pulled together this interesting presentation.

After School Programs BEGIN NEXT WEEK!!!-Remind your children.

All Tuesday classes will begin on Tuesday October 9th! Wednesday classes begin on Wednesday October 10th and Thursday classes begin on Thursday October 11th. Monday classes will begin on Monday October 15th.

Walk-a-Thon! –“ Take a walk on the wild side”-October 31st (5 weeks out!)

This is the most important fundraising event for our school. Without it, we cannot sustain the important ways that the PTA supports our school where district funding falls shorts. Please sponsor your child and circulate the sponsor link amongst your family friends. We have taken our Walk-A-Thon donation website in-house this year, allowing us to save thousands of dollars on fees for using an outside company to facilitate the donations. When someone donates, a thank you email is generated, and at the conclusion of the fundraiser children will receive a list of who pledged to them!
