Interested in Serving on the 2024-2025 LCTA PTA Executive Board?
Our PTA Executive Board is made up entirely of volunteers who devote their time and energy to making our school community great and we need you! We have kicked off our recruitment process for the '24/'25 Board in March and presented our awesome slate of candidates at yesterday's meeting. Our candidates will be officially voted on at our May meeting! There are a variety of volunteer roles focused on student enrichment, community events, teacher and staff appreciation, advocacy, communications and community outreach, and more.
We have some amazing candidates we’re very excited about and we would love to have YOU join the team to help us have the most amazing year next year! Learn about the committee positions still available and self-nominate your awesome self or nominate an awesome friend (or two or three!) here: https://www.lctapta.org/newboard! We are specifically looking for committee support in these committees:
*Legislative Affairs Committee: If you want to be called on to attend school board meetings and involved in advocacy opportunities, please join our new Legislative Affairs Committee for the next school year!
*Community Spirit Committee: Planning fun events year-round for our families/students, and teachers/staff!
*Lion Fest Committee: Our only fundraiser of the year, to be held in October 2024, includes garnering support from local business and helping plan a fun day of activities for our kids!
*Book Fair Committee: Our Book Fair in September 2024 will be our first big event of the year!
