Book Fair Recap + Online Sales Continue
Thank you for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair; it was our biggest fair yet! Because of your support, our school has earned a whopping $7,000 in Scholastic bucks, from $14,000 in sales! This is going to make such a huge difference to the school year ahead. Our amazing librarian, Ms. Hoeflich, can purchase hundreds and hundreds of new books for the library and keep the ROARing Readers machine stocked all year long! The PTA also made sure all students were able to purchase a new book from the Fair! This is amazing and we are so proud to be part of a school that comes out in so many ways to support the students and staff.
Thank you to all the families that purchased books from your teacher's wish lists and most of all, thank you to ALL the volunteers that helped during the week by taking on new roles as cashiers and book stockers. Thank you, Mr. Perry, Ms. Hoover, Ms. O'Hanley, Ms. Wadley, Ms. Redlinger, Rebecca Maggard, Marissa Sparacino, Shivani Chandra, Eric Johnson, Cyd Henry, Mike Henry, Robin Sundaramoorthy, Dave Earnest, Danielle Mendoza, Anna Tedeschi, Yasmeen Richards, Lori Ruiz, Haydel Ortiz, Anna Kiss, Judit Csonka, Kait Marder, Emi Eiting, Paul Eiting, Casey Shaw, Carol Jun-Hutchinson, Kloe Cella, Jenn Ring, Mike Detomo, Parveen Murray, Nihal Horne, Yannin Garcia and Claudine Edelblute!
Reminder: The book fair continues online! Any purchases made online at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/lcta will directly benefit our school as we receive 25% back from all online sales until Oct 1st! This is also a great way to spend any e-wallet balances you may have remaining.
Uniform Locker: Open on 9/29 + Uniform Donations Requested
Our school is a uniform school. As such, to help support our families, the PTA runs a Uniform Locker, which is stocked with gently used uniform items for your family to shop free of charge.
The Uniform Locker will be open on Friday 9/29 from 7:45-8:30 am. It is located by the side doors of the school, facing the parking lot.
We are putting out an open call and request for more uniform donations to help us restock and make more items available to our community! Uniform donations can be dropped off when the Locker is open directly at the Locker and to the front office at any time. Thank you for considering and helping us continue to offer this wonderful service to our community!
