Dear LCTA families;
As you may be aware, for many years Lyles-Crouch was recognized as a National School of Character. We are hoping to reestablish that designation and are actively working within our community connecting our children with important causes to help them see their place in contributing to their community. Supporting Animals is our focus in the month of March in the lead up to the April 9th Animal Benefit. Thank you for all your generous donations of supplies that have been dropped off in the front lobby.
We are reaching out to ask for your support of our upcoming Animal Benefit on April 9th. Each year we hold a talent show for the children to help raise funds for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and King Street Cats. It is a special night where our students from our youngest to our oldest gather to showcase their talents in; music, dance and the arts. All funds raised for the event go to Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and King Street Cats. These are two charities that Dr. Zissios introduced to our school as part of the character counts program. She has enjoyed sharing her passion for caring and supporting abandoned and neglected animals with our children and community at Lyles-Crouch.
This year it is our goal to raise 5k for this important cause. Whether you have a child participating in the event or not, please join us in supporting this event and important cause. There are four easy ways to support.
Please visit www.lctapta.org/animalbenefit
1) Make a Donation (in any tax-deductible amount) 2) Register to Attend the Event (suggest $5 pp) 3) Submit a photo of an animal in the program ($50/$100) 4) List your business as an advertisement in our program for the night. ($50/100)
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
